Being Interviewed VERSUS INTERVIEWING! Cool Hunt by Patrese Calheiros
This week I had the honor to be interviewed by one of my greatest Brazilian friends in LA, Patrese Calheiros.
Usually I'm the one interviewing, this week the roles changed,I was interviewed. It felt strange, but a good strange!
What is the cool hunt project?!!
School assigned my friend a homework: Interview a cool person with great stories that can inspire people!
He needed to interview THIS COOL PERSON to present in his marketing class. He couldn't think of a cooler person, ha ha ha, he chose me, Ï wonder why! :)
Anyways... He came with all his pro equipment to get some simple footage done.. then we ended up taking to the next level,we took time to do something more fun!
We had a real set of lights, we had a "set designer" helping out taking the junk away from the set, we had wardrobe and a real camera man / interviewer,Patrese himself!By the way, what a great job he did!
Oh well, there is not much left to say, just wanted to thank him and share the experience/video with you guys. The video shows what this post is all about!
Hope you guys like it as much as I did.
Thanks Patrese, YOU ROCK!
Cheers!
... and ACTION!!

Time to Celebrate the Brazilian Day in San Diego!!!
What a great day among Brazilians!
I hosted the event for the first time
and
here is a bit of what happened.Hope you enjoy the photos!
San Diego was The place to be on September 18th ,Sunday, where the 4th Annual Brazilian Day happened. It was the day to dance, even better, to SAMBA, to hear our good music,to eat best Brazilian food and to get to know the Brazilian culture better.
The Garnet street was completely blocked to receive all the 50 thousand people that showed up. It was a party to remember!
The event was founded by Paulo Batuta,Melaine Rivera, and mestre de Capoeira do grupo Mandiga. The Brazilian Day in San Diego also counted with the help of Alex Danielli, Gabriela Depolph,Thamara Valença and Paulo Cailile, they were all responsable for the event production.
The San Diego Police also helped the party to be more safe and organized!
The attractions were really umbelievable:
The event hosted a carnival parade featuring more the 15 groups.
Bringing the AXE Music to US we also had Tonho Materia from Salvador- Bahia, who came from Brazil just perform at the festival.
From LA we had on stage Gu Fidelis, singer and song writer from the South of Brazil. He sang songs that brought us really good memories.
The Sound of Brothers of Brazil,Supla & João Suplicy surprised the public. Their style and music was contagious.Everybody was dancing and enjoying the Bossa Rock they played and sang during the 50 minutes of their performance!
Can you imagine all this people wearing yellow and green on the streets at once?
It was BEAUTIFUL.. Like a real Carnival! If you did not attend this year, come experience the next year, you will never forget it!
I would like to say thanks to Alex Danielli for inviting me to host the event, besides a great behind the scenes producer, he was great sharing the stage with me!

Fotos: Cacio Murilo
Makeup: Katia Freire
Roupas: Piggy
Styling:Giselle Claudino
O vestido cor salmão também by Piggy!
Dress to dye for/by Piggy
